DEAP

DEAP is the front door to the ABCD and HBCD datasets — a web platform for seeing what’s in a release and turning it into analysis-ready data without wrangling raw multi-table files by hand.

An interactive dictionary explorer organizes variables by domain and source with searchable metadata and summary stats. Accredited researchers can assemble custom datasets by joining variables across tables and export them as CSV, Stata, SPSS, RDS, or Parquet, then store and share them — with exploratory visualization and statistical modeling on the roadmap.

Across the NBDC ecosystem it serves as the primary access-and-exploration pathway, used by hundreds of internal scientists and thousands of external researchers.
